At ADA’s board retreat in January 2012, it was decided that a method was needed whereby our organization could widen it’s view of the political and social landscape, enabling consideration of pertinent issues that may, otherwise, escape attention.

With that in mind, the Issues Committee was created.

Members of this committee are charged with continually considering current events and festering issues, of a local nature, where our values have a stake.

Care is taken to not duplicate the activity or scope of other standing committees e.g. Education.

After due examination, the committee will provide a report, with recommendations for action, to the full board.
