Several weeks ago, I provided testimony to the Mayor's Task Force on Ethics and Campaign Finance Reform on behalf of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of Americans for Democratic Action. The text of my testimony may be read here.

In response, I have been provided with a copy of the Task Force's aptly titled "Interim Report on the Progress of the Task Force on Ethics and Campaign Finance Reform." Quite the mouthful, eh?

A copy of the Interim Report is attached to this post. It's actually somewhat disappointing in that the report simply consists of a request for an extension of time to file its real report followed by several pages of questions the Task Force apparently intends to answer.

Also attached, and likely of more interest, is a copy of the 164-page transcript from the January 10, 2009 hearing held by the Task Force soliciting testimony from the public on the topic.
